Oscillating Drive series OP is a mechanical parallel axis unit which transforms the uniform rotation of the inlet shaft in an intermittent rotation of the output shaft by means of lwo conjugated cams engaged with cam followers fixed to the indexing disco. The output shaft is hollow, so hoses, wires, etc., can pass through it. It's also possible to connect it to a mechanical transmission. The intermittent drive is best suited for high frequency applications or low precision-Iow cost applications. The number of standard indexings ranges from 1 to 8.
